Biography

Brian Klaus joined the Surety team in 1994 as a marketing and sales representative. Charged with expanding Surety’s customer base and market  presence, Klaus was vital in establishing Surety’s entry into the Affiliated Business and Joint Venture arena. After much continued success Klaus was welcomed as an official partner in 2003 and was promoted to the role of President the following year.

During the economic downturn of the Great Recession, Klaus successfully managed Surety and ultimately led the restructuring and repositioning of the company into a larger, more resilient and profitable company.  Thanks to these efforts, Surety is better equipped to handle the ever changing needs of our customers and evolving markets.

Currently, Klaus is charged with developing Surety’s long term growth strategies. He was instrumental in establishing and directing Surety’s model of revenue and geographic diversity, thus enabling Surety to capitalize on our depth of experience and knowledge to service multiple markets and customer sectors.

Klaus is a 1990 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics. He is involved in many local charitable organizations and coaching youth sports. One of his proudest accomplishments is, along with his Partners, establishing the Surety Charitable Foundation which contributes to numerous local and national charities and maintaining Surety as a responsible Corporate Citizen.
